Location

This complex memorial comprising three separate plaques was originally sited at the west end of the north wall in the nave. The exact position is unknown.

Further Information
In the 1881 Census Retired Admiral Lewis T. Jones (age 83, born Birmingham) is recorded as living in the household of his sister Mary Osborn (81) at Down End, Fareham. Also in the household was one year old Loftus W. Jones (the second son of Admiral Loftus Jones of Petersfield) who lost his life at the Battle of Jutland and was awarded a posthumous VC.
